A large share of the range is imported and needs special handling: food labelling, accurate inventory management, and tracking of expiry dates and batches. As the webshop began to grow, its logistics backbone had to keep pace.
The challenge: growth held back by logistics
Tortastúdió was handling more and more orders while the product range kept expanding. Goods arriving from abroad needed Hungarian-language labelling, accurate stock records and the handling of expiry dates, batches and LOT numbers. At the same time, customers increasingly wanted fast delivery and instant pickup options.
The solution: a scalable logistics backbone
We built a logistics system that not only runs the day-to-day webshop operation but also supports further growth. Products arrive at our warehouse, where proper storage and food-safety compliance are guaranteed. The system manages batches, LOT numbers and expiry dates, so stock is always precisely traceable. For imported products, we provide custom Hungarian labelling.
International expansion without the hurdles
Our logistics system allowed Tortastúdió to start selling into new countries while shipping and fulfillment kept running smoothly. Order processing, inventory management and shipping scaled seamlessly.
More imported products, a wider range
With a solid logistics backbone in place, Tortastúdió could introduce new products with more confidence. The number of imported products grew significantly, because labelling, warehousing and inventory processes were no longer an extra burden.
Accurate data, a better pricing strategy
The statistics and reports available in the system helped Tortastúdió gain a clearer view of product performance, logistics costs and ordering patterns – so they could optimise their prices and make more informed business decisions.
The result
Today Tortastúdió is a stable, steadily growing webshop with a logistics backbone that keeps pace with its development. Operations are simpler, the product range has expanded, and the webshop has successfully opened up to international markets. Logistics is no longer an obstacle – it’s one of the engines of growth.
