Shipping beer bottles and boxes calls for special care. The products are fragile, the packaging is often irregular or varies in size, and order combinations can be highly varied. On top of that, because of the brewing process, managing batch numbers and traceability plays an important role. The logistics process has to prevent damage, ensure accurate traceability and deliver fast – all at once.

The solution: flexible logistics processes

We built warehouse and packing processes designed specifically for the safe handling of fragile products. The system supports recording and managing batch numbers, meeting custom labelling needs and flexibly assembling different package sizes. A key priority in designing the packing process was making sure the beers arrive safely, even when several products go into one parcel.

In the life of a brewery, reacting fast often matters – for example when a new product launches or a priority order comes in. That’s why the logistics backbone makes same-day delivery possible in certain situations, even with our own transport. This is especially important when serving hospitality venues, fulfilling larger orders and handling urgent deliveries.
